All Tenants have the responsibility to carry RENTER'S INSURANCE on the contents of all rented premises to protect Tenants' personal contents from water damage, fire damage, storm damage, break-ins, etc.
The Landlord's risk insurance on the building structure DOES NOT cover Tenants' personal property. By choosing to NOT purchase a Renters Insurance policy, Tenants assume the full risk of loss for your personal property or liability for accidents to visitors or guests that might occur within the rented premises.
